The Importance of Spiritual hour in Your life

A person’s spiritual quest is hardly ever satisfied.

Many things remain unfulfilled in life. Someone may be from a village . He would possibly associate his God with a village environment and may  want to know His birthplace. 

 On the other hand, someone who has been traditionally taught Krishna Chanting at home may have an ultimate desire of going to Vrindaban. 

But think, how rarely this happens. These holy places are not open to you anytime, rather you reach there when the call of the divine comes.

Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa  said every soul is potentially attached to God. 

While staying in the world we are detached from that goal from time to time , because we have worldly thoughts and materialistic desires at the back of the mind. But this does not give the soul the required solace .

It only gets the relief when it is constantly associated with God.

In rare cases God comes at once to the caller if He finds the devotee earnest enough.

There is an incident noted by Sri M , who took down Sri Ramakrishna’s chats on a daily basis in the hope of getting those published. 

Once Sri Ramakrishna was going in his cart with a couple of his closest 'bhaktas' when he saw a Muslim seeker was earnestly praying. There was a certain self-surrender in that poor man's prayer , so that at once Sri Ramakrishna went to him and embraced him consoling , “I have come."

The concept of Pilgrimage in religions is the same .

While real such yatras in Hinduism are like a long suffering path taken by people, in Islam the concept of Hajj comes from the emancipation of reaching the Holy place at least once in a lifetime, withiout knowing that will be possible or not.

In Chistianity , reaching  Jesus Christ's birthplace in Bethlehem has the same importance. 

In Bhagavad Gita, Sri Krishna advised Arjuna to do his job but not to be attached to the result.

However it seems impossible for someone  to find the driving force how to be detached from 'karma' when it is necessary for livelihood or other purposes.

Like this throughout life a person will have the tendency to fulfil different wants from religion.

But knowing the role of religion in your  life is more important than getting things done.

Having a spiritual hour in the day can fulfil most of your wants . 

In this age rather than flicking through the mobile or gadgets first thing in the morning, and listening to discourses throughout the day , specifying a period of observance and mindfulness is far more effective, because people hardly have the sacred lifestyle to maintain a spiritual life. 

In the morning , a spiritual hour can satisfy most of  your spititual quest and your day's work is protected.
