The difference between addiction of substance and addiction of work is that the first makes you delusional about the result, while the second makes you delusional about your capacity.

  A person who works wholeheartedly to get a position may beat others and win a competition, but a person who sticks to the accomplishment against all odds beats self that creates barriers in all contradictory ways.

  If you are not sure about your priorities and source of sustenance, you'll always have the tendency to chop your own leg with the axe of expectations that is sharpened each day with worldly applauses and demands.

 Just like men are attracted to power and are often obsessed with it, women worship power to change their own or others' lives.

A person’s spiritual quest is hardly ever satisfied. Many things remain unfulfilled in life. Someone may be from a village . He would possibly associate his God with a village environment and may    want to know His birthplace.  On the other hand, someone who has been traditionally taught Krishna Chanting at home may have an ultimate desire of going to Vrindaban.  But think, how rarely this happens. These holy places are not open to you anytime, rather you reach there when the call of the divine comes. Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa    said every soul is potentially attached to God.  While staying in the world we are detached from that goal from time to time , because we have worldly thoughts and materialistic desires at the back of the mind. But this does not give the soul the required solace . It only gets the relief when it is constantly associated with God.
